Twice each year dinner groups of 7, 8 or 9 are formed. Everyone is invited to participate. The purpose is to enjoy a meal together and to get better acquainted. For many these dinners have been a primary means for meeting other members and for feeling more connected to the UPC family.
Dinner For Eight (or 7, or 9 . . .)
New Groups Forming
Would you like to get better acquainted with others from
UPC? Join the next group of DINNER FOR EIGHT (or 7, or 9 . . .) which will begin in January.
What is Dinner For Eight?
Groups of 7, 8, or 9 persons who take turns hosting a gathering once a
month for four months for a meal and conversation. The emphasis is on fun and friendship so you
don’t have to be a great cook to participate!
During a four month period you will host only once, and will be a guest
on three occasions. When it is your turn
to host, you decide when and where.
Perhaps your group will have a picnic in a park, use the facilities at
the church, or host lunch or dinner at home or in a restaurant. It’s up to you!
To participate in this wonderful way of getting to know
each other better, please contact DeeAnne Hawkins 480-220-2785 or DeeAnneHawkins@cox.net by December
29th.
If you are currently participating in Dinner for Eight,
your name will be included in the next group. Contact DeeAnne if you wish your name to be removed from the group or if you have any
questions.
